Operations Manager
Description: The selected candidate will provide day‑to‑day support of IRST LSE Depot Operations with Development, Production, and Sustainment activities and related duties. Responsibilities include support of depot repairs such as planning, material handling, hardware movement, supply and logistics, and compliance activities. The candidate will be heavily involved with Supplier and Offsite Repairs, including planning, coordination, and management. Additional duties include support of Depot Test Equipment, calibrations support, and supply operations such as logistics, material handling, packaging, shipping, and receiving.
Administrative support of depot repairs includes generation and release of program directives, support of policy and procedure generation, and proposal support. All work is performed to ensure compliance with engineering, contracts, statements of work, performance work statements, and schedules. The individual will interface and collaborate cross‑functionally with ILS, production repair operations, procurement, PP&C, quality, engineering, metrology, property management, compliance, and various leadership or program management both internal and external to execute roles and responsibilities.
Qualifications
- 2 year college degree or equivalent experience
- LSE depot operations experience including depot support functions
- Excellent communication skills and Customer Service orientation
- Secret clearance
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word)
- Ability to interface with a variety of information technology applications
- Ability to work in a cross‑functional IPT environment
- Experience using MS Excel and SAP client applications
- Familiar with MFC Asset Management System (AMS)
- Experience interacting with management and customers
- Individual must be a self‑starter capable of effectively managing
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret
Part‑time Remote Telework:
The employee will work part of their schedule remotely and part at a Lockheed Martin facility; the specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
