Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. This position requires a strong understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations.
- Assist in the diagnosis and management of patient conditions, including infectious disease care and senior care.
- Perform procedures such as cardiac catheterization and radiation therapy as needed.
- Develop and implement health coaching plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide optimal care for patients, including family planning services.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Participate in occupational health assessments and MDS evaluations.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
Qualifications
- Master?s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and best practices.
- Experience in health coaching or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with infectious disease care protocols is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
