Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. This position requires a strong understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations.
  • Assist in the diagnosis and management of patient conditions, including infectious disease care and senior care.
  • Perform procedures such as cardiac catheterization and radiation therapy as needed.
  • Develop and implement health coaching plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide optimal care for patients, including family planning services.
  • Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Participate in occupational health assessments and MDS evaluations.
  • Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.

Qualifications

  • Master?s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and best practices.
  • Experience in health coaching or related fields is preferred.
  • Familiarity with infectious disease care protocols is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
