Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this role is to perform the dynamic combined aspects of pest control, exclusion services, minor construction, and TAP (Thermal Acoustical Pest) insulation installation, allowing you to make a significant impact in the communities we serve.
- Conduct inspections to identify pest activity and perform pest control services for residential and commercial clients.
- Install and maintain termite control systems.
- Efficiently install TAP insulation, ensuring quality service and customer satisfaction while managing job‑site preparations and clean‑up.
- Assist with light construction projects, including minor repairs and replacements related to pest damage.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain services, ensure satisfaction, and provide guidance on pest control measures.
- Perform exclusion services and wildlife removal, set up and build exclusion traps, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations; participate in training to enhance skills.
- Work around animals, insects and termites.
- Operate in tight, confined spaces such as basements, attics, crawl spaces, narrow aisles, passageways.
- Set up and build exclusion traps, cut flashing and form hardware cloth to specifications.
- Remove animals from exclusion devices.
- Use safety harnesses from roof tops as needed in exclusion services and wildlife removal.
- Complete production forms documenting services provided.
- Work under various physical conditions: mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights, scaffolding, fumes, dust, chemicals; adhere to safety training.
- Lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 lbs with proper technique.
- Maintain balance on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces; push objects with steady force as needed.
- Work both indoors and outdoors in local climate; wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as OSHA‑compliant respirator.
- Operate motor vehicle; keep vehicle and equipment clean.
- Clean shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers must seal your face).
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Pre‑employment background screen.
- Valid driver’s license and pass motor vehicle driving record check (company vehicle and gas card provided).
- Available to work Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as needed.
- Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills; ability to present information internally and externally.
- Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, including whole numbers, fractions, decimals.
- Ability to follow product label instructions for mixing.
- Relevant licenses or certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us).
- Customer‑facing experience preferred.
