** Women’s Imaging Manager
** is responsible for the operational oversight, quality assurance, technical staff supervision, and professional development of women’s imaging services across multiple assigned outpatient imaging centers. This role provides modality-specific leadership for mammography and women’s imaging, with a strong focus on clinical quality, regulatory compliance, operational consistency, and patient experience. This position combines hands-on modality leadership with the development, implementation, and ongoing management of women’s imaging protocols, quality programs, and standardization initiatives.
The Women’s Imaging Manager partners closely with Site Managers, Operations Leadership, and Quality to ensure the highest caliber of patient care, image quality, and service delivery is consistently achieved across all locations. In partnership with the Quality team, the Women’s Imaging Manager leads the creation, implementation, and continuous refinement of regional women’s imaging programs, including protocol governance, quality monitoring, audit readiness, and accreditation support.
This role ensures adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices while driving consistency across blended markets. The Women’s Imaging Manager remains focused on the expansion and optimization of women’s imaging services, supporting growth initiatives through staff cross-training, upskilling of technical knowledge, and development of high-performing teams. This includes coaching technologists, supporting competency validation, and ensuring appropriate clinical coverage models are maintained.
Additional responsibilities include oversight of modality-specific supply management through designated technical staff, ensuring supplies are ordered efficiently and managed in a fiscally responsible manner. The Women’s Imaging Manager works closely with Operations Leadership to monitor staffing-to-volume ratios, support weekly labor optimization, and contribute to the financial performance of assigned sites.
** Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
*** Ensure high-quality, patient-centered women’s imaging services are delivered efficiently, professionally, and in compliance with confidentiality standards. While this is primarily a leadership role, limited clinical participation may be required to support operations; administrative oversight remains the primary function.
* Maintain strong visibility and engagement with technologists, site leadership, radiologists, vendors, and cross-functional partners. Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, performance management, professional development, and disciplinary actions as needed. Foster strong relationships with referring providers and collaborate with Sales and Operations to address concerns and support growth.
* Oversee technical operations, equipment readiness, safety standards, and regulatory compliance across assigned sites. Partner with Quality to support accreditation, inspections, audits, and licensing requirements. Proactively identify risks, investigate issues, and ensure corrective actions are implemented to prevent patient incidents and minimize service disruptions.
* Collaborate with Radiologists, Clinical Leadership, and Quality to ensure imaging protocols are current and consistently followed. Support workflow optimization, timely report delivery, and effective communication with case management and clinical partners. Serve as a clinical escalation resource when physician input is required.
* Participate in site leadership huddles and facilitate regular engagement with technical teams. Lead education, training, and performance discussions focused on quality, volume, patient experience, and culture. Partner with Operations and Site Managers to ensure appropriate staffing models, exam scheduling, and fiscally responsible management of labor and supplies.
* Perform other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned.
