Salary Range: $20.00 - $20.00 per Hour

Our unarmed Security Officers are responsible for day-to-day security screening of airport employees and other individuals passing through screening locations.

• Responsible for identifying dangerous objects and preventing those objects from being transported through screening locations.
• Carry out duties in a professional and courteous manner, providing exceptional customer service.
• Use diverse, cutting-edge electronic detection and imaging equipment.
• Perform metal detection searches, pat down searches, operation of x-ray machines, physical searches of property, and other identification review as needed.
• Additional security related duties to ensure safety to the traveling public.

• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must possess a current Florida Class-D Security License.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Must read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Must be able to pass a verifiable background check, including criminal, employment, education, and personal reference checks.
• Must possess a valid state‑issued driver’s license or .
• Must be able to pass pre-employment, annual, and random drug screenings.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work and interact with the public.
• Must be able to work around the flexibility and changing schedules, including shifts throughout the day, afternoon, evening, and overnight as required.
• Open availability without restraints due to other part-time jobs, etc.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time with few breaks.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to twist, squat, and bend over without physical limitations.
• Ability to perform patrols, including walking long distances and going up and down stairs.
• Ability to protect yourself or others in the event of a physical disturbance.
• Comfortable with conditions ranging from summer heat to winter conditions.
• Open availability without restraints due to other part-time jobs, etc.
