Job Title: Pipe Fitter / TIG Welder ASME IX (6G)
Location: Orlando, FL
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr.
- $25.00/hr.
Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Overtime as needed)
Minimum Qualifications- Certified Pipe Fitter / TIG Welder ASME IX (6G)
- Proficient in blueprint reading and weld symbols
- Experience welding to B31.1, B31.3 & PED standards (X-ray quality)
- Strong pipe layout, fit-up, and fabrication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment
We are seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter / TIG Welder ASME IX (6G) to join our team. The Pipe Fitter / TIG Welder ASME IX (6G) will perform pipe layout, fit-up, and precision TIG welding to meet customer specifications and code requirements. This role requires a detail‑oriented professional committed to quality and safety.
Responsibilities- Perform pipe layout, fit-up, and TIG welding per blueprints and specifications
- Interpret weld symbols and ensure welds meet ASME and X‑ray standards
- Stamp welds with traceability
- Inspect finished work to ensure tolerance compliance
- Operate tools such as saws, grinders, and drills
- Maintain records and manage material inventory
- Safely operate forklifts, cranes, and shop equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all safety guidelines and PPE requirements
