Make a difference as a Guelph-based Full Time Environmental Technician. Engage in field surveys, safety monitoring, and specialized environmental assessments to ensure compliance.
As part of our team, your role will involve supervising and conducting inspections, assessing construction materials, and providing consultations to government entities. This position requires 3 to 5 years of experience and relevant educational qualifications, including a diploma or certificate, to succeed in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in environmental surveys and inspections
• Supervise testing procedures for construction materials
• Consult with government organizations on safety issues
• Monitor safety conditions on-site and during investigations
• Conduct assessments and sampling for environmental studies
Requirements:
• 1-2 years diplomas or certificates in a relevant program
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Must own transportation and a valid driver's license
• Willingness to travel as necessary
• Initiative and organizational capabilities
