IT Network & Security Analyst Co-op

Join Hammond Power Solutions as a Network & Security Analyst Co-op in Guelph, Ontario. This role, beginning May 2026, focuses on improving network reliability and security.

As part of a leading transformer manufacturer, you’ll report to the Manager of Networking & Cybersecurity and assist the team with troubleshooting, documentation updates, and security-focused projects. This hands-on position is ideal for students wishing to gain substantial IT experience while contributing to essential network operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle troubleshooting for DNS, VPN, and firewall issues

• Review tickets, document, and escalate when necessary

• Update relevant network and operational documentation

• Support onboarding processes and security project initiatives

• Prepare reports and assist in project follow-ups

Requirements:

• Currently studying Information Technology or Computer Science

• Introductory coursework in networking or cybersecurity preferred

• Basic networking concepts knowledge required

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and documentation tools

• Excellent attention to detail and learning attitude
