About the Opportunity
Our client in the energy sector is seeking a detail-oriented Lessons Learned Specialist to support the continuous improvement of large-scale, complex projects. This role plays a critical part in capturing project insights, strengthening project controls practices, and ensuring knowledge is effectively shared across teams.
You will collaborate closely with project managers, analysts, and cross-functional stakeholders to turn experience into actionable improvements. This is an opportunity to influence how projects are planned and delivered by embedding best practices, enhancing reporting, and driving a culture of learning and accountability.

Your Responsibilities
You’ll capture and document lessons learned from project activities, ensuring insights are retained and accessible across the organization.
Guide project teams on project controls and lessons learned processes to support successful delivery.
Facilitate workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote best practices and continuous improvement.
Analyze project performance data, including schedule, cost, risk, and resources, to identify trends and opportunities.
Develop and maintain tools, templates, and frameworks to support lessons learned and reporting processes.
Skills and Qualifications
4+ years of relevant experience in project controls, project management, or continuous improvement environments.
Strong understanding of scheduling, cost management, risk analysis, and resource planning.
Experience facilitating workshops and applying Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies is considered an asset.
Proficiency with Power BI and MS Office, with experience building dashboards and analyzing data.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and interpersonal skills.
PMP designation is considered an asset.
