Location: Whitby
Explore your IT career with Gerdau’s full-time internship based in Whitby, Ontario. This 16-month role focuses on hands-on IT operations, user support, and professional growth.
Ideal candidates are undergraduates entering their third or fourth year, studying Information Technologies or Software Engineering. A 3.0 GPA or higher is preferred, along with leadership experience in student organizations. This internship offers real-world experience with the added responsibility of engaging directly with end-users and troubleshooting IT issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support daily IT operations and initiatives
• Engage with end-users across campus locations
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
• Manage the transport of equipment weighing up to 30 lbs
• Participate in team learning and development meetings
Requirements:
• Enrolled in relevant degree program
• Expected to continue studies after internship
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
• Background in leadership roles
• Authorized to work full-time in Canada
