CNC Operator / Setup / Programmer
Location: GTA North
Compensation: $27.00–$31.00/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

About the Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled CNC Operator / Setup / Programmer who thrives at the intersection of mechanical craftsmanship and precision machining. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building custom fixtures, programming CNC equipment, and taking full ownership of the machining process—from blueprint to finished part.
You’ll work with a small, dedicated team in a clean, well?organized facility, producing high?accuracy components across a variety of materials.
What You’ll Do
Fixture Building & Mechanical Work
Construct jigs and fixtures to support CNC machining operations.
Apply GD&T principles to ensure accuracy and repeatability across multi-axis setups.
CNC Programming & Machining
Program 3 axis CNC milling centers using Mastercam
.
Convert 2D drawings into optimized 3D toolpaths.
Select appropriate feeds, speeds, and tooling for aluminum, steel, and plastics.
Set up CNC mills according to engineering drawings and job specifications.
Oversee machining operations to ensure parts meet dimensional and quality requirements.
Quality & Documentation
Perform first?article inspections and maintain ISO 9001 documentation.
Complete nonconformance reports when required.
Validate final parts against engineering specifications.
What You Bring
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Strong proficiency with CAM software (Mastercam preferred).
Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
