Bayshore Medical Personnel is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse in Oshawa, ON, to provide care for those who served our nation. This full-time contract role emphasizes patient assessments and military healthcare compliance.
Engage with applicants at the Canadian Forces Recruitment Centre, utilizing your nursing expertise to ensure accurate medical evaluations.
You'll work with experienced personnel and play a significant role in enhancing the lives of military applicants. Your knowledge of recruitment policies and direct care will support the Canadian Armed Forces' intake objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect comprehensive medical histories from applicants
• Interpret medical documentation and laboratory results
• Conduct focused physical exams as needed
• Enhance recruitment productivity through efficient medical file management
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for optimal results
Requirements:
• Minimum of one year nursing experience in the last three years
• Current provincial nursing license
• Standard First Aid and BLS certification
• Current N95 mask fit certificate (within 2 years)
• WHMIS Certification (within 2 years)
