Evening Shift Registered Nurse Ontario

Location: Port Perry

Elevate care for residents in Ontario as a Registered Nurse with Southbridge Care Homes on evening shifts. Engage in medication administration, assessments, and collaborative care practices every shift.

As a pivotal member of Southbridge Care Homes, you will report to the Director of Care while supporting nursing excellence in long-term care. Your responsibilities include monitoring health conditions, managing nursing staff, and ensuring compliance with established care standards. This role calls for a dedication to improving nursing practices and fostering a compassionate environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and conduct resident assessments

• Develop and implement individualized care plans

• Supervise nursing and personal care staff in assigned units

• Prepare the facility for RAI MDS evaluation

• Fill in for the Director of Care as needed

Requirements:

• Valid certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Eligible for registration with the Registered Nurses Association

• Current First Aid and BLS certificate

• Previous managerial experience preferred

• Strong communication and organizational skills
