The Village of Taunton Mill has an opening for an Unscheduled Part Time Registered Practical Nurse in Whitby, Ontario. This role will focus on delivering secure and compassionate care to residents in a retirement home setting.
In this permanent position, the RPN will be responsible for medication administration and adherence to care plans as mandated by the College of Nurses of Ontario. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure each resident’s individual care needs are met while upholding the village’s mission of quality living. Key Responsibilities   Follow established medication administration procedures
Report changes in residents’ health to the nursing team
Collaborate with the Neighbourhood Physician on care updates
Support residents and families during care decisions
Maintain accurate care records in the system
Requirements   Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Valid Heart Save Level of CPR
Knowledge of Long-Term Care standards and regulations

Experience with dementia care or end-of-life support is a plus
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
