Working 12-hour shifts, your role focuses on delivering personalized nursing care while adhering to the highest safety and infection control standards. A Diploma as a Registered Practical Nurse and current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario are essential, alongside effective communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient assessments and implement care plans
• Administer treatments and medications as assigned
• Perform infection control techniques per best practices
• Monitor and advocate for patient well-being
• Facilitate communication among multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:
• Registered Practical Nurse Diploma from an accredited college
• Valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current B.C.L.S. certification
• Previous experience in an Oncology Unit or similar
• Ability to handle patient transfers and emergencies
