This temporary position allows you to utilize your nursing skills within a dedicated healthcare team. Your responsibilities involve patient monitoring, supporting team decisions, and ensuring effective communication, along with guiding Personal Support Workers towards optimal patient care outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patient needs and monitor medical conditions
• Assist team members in clinical decision-making
• Train and oversee Personal Support Workers
• Document patient care accurately and comprehensively
• Engage in quality improvement practices for patient care
Requirements:
• Practical Nurse Diploma from a recognized college
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Valid B.C.L.S. and Medication Certificate
• Experience in acute medicine or similar settings
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
