Senior Staff Accountant Responsibilities
- Completion of assurance and accounting engagements, including the relevant tax filings, with dedicated resources including paperless office infrastructure.
- Overseeing junior staff on assurance and accounting engagements.
- Identifying and resolving assurance and accounting engagement issues.
- Progressive Accounting
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in public accounting, coupled with the successful completion of the CPA exams. - CPA, CA Designation: Possession of a CPA, CA designation, or active progress towards fulfilling the required hours for certification.
- Audit and Assurance Proficiency: A strong background in audit and assurance is essential for success in this role.
- Client-Centric Approach: An ability to provide value-added services to our clients, demonstrating a commitment to their success.
- ASPE Knowledge: Proficiency in Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) requirements is a must.
- Software Competence: Experience with Caseware and Taxprep software is highly desirable.
- Deadline-Oriented: Strong understanding of a client‑focused environment, including awareness of related deadlines, and the capability to consistently meet them.
- Confidentiality and Discretion: Sound judgment when handling confidential and sensitive matters.
- Communication

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. - Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and accuracy in all tasks and responsibilities.
