An Ottawa-based professional services organization seeks a Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee core accounting functions. This role requires 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience and a CPA designation. You will leverage your skills to manage daily operations ranging from payroll to accounts reconciliation, enhancing processes along the way.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable operations

• Perform and review bank and balance sheet reconciliations

• Manage monthly close and prepare supporting schedules

• Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting procedures

• Support audit activities, coordinating with external accountants

Requirements:

• CPA designation preferred; accounting diploma required

• 5–7 years of finance and accounting experience

• Proficient with Quick Books for accounting tasks

• Experience in staffing or recruitment is an asset

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
