Senior Bookkeeper

Job #5047 – Our well‑established client in the professional services sector is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to join their team on a full‑time, permanent basis. This role supports day‑to‑day financial operations, including maintaining accurate financial records, managing reconciliations, processing transactions, and supporting reporting activities. The position plays a key role in ensuring financial data is accurate and up to date while supporting efficient accounting and administrative processes across the organization.

• Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, reconciliations, and bookkeeping files
• Manage payroll processing, HST remittances, and ROE submissions
• Track expenses, disbursements, and billing details in coordination with the accounting function
• Prepare invoices, process payments, and maintain trust and general ledgers
• Support financial reporting, budgeting activities, and overall document organization
• Liaise with clients, financial institutions, and other third parties, responding to inquiries promptly
• Coordinate document management, version control, and general data entry tasks
• Provide general administrative and office support as required

• Post‑secondary education in accounting is preferred
• Minimum 3+ years of full‑cycle bookkeeping experience required
• Good understanding of accounting principles and procedures, including payroll
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous Quick Books experience is considered an asset
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
