Temporary Accounting Clerk

Position: Temporary Accounting Clerk Opportunity
Support financial operations as an Accounting Clerk with an engineering firm in Gloucester, East Ottawa. This onsite role focuses on accounts receivable, payable, and project support during maternity leave.

The role requires a detail-oriented professional with at least two years of accounting experience ready to contribute to a fun and results-driven team. Your responsibilities will include generating accurate invoices, managing transaction volumes, and collaborating with project managers on financial compliance. Organizational skills and the ability to adapt to shifting demands will be vital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate customer invoices and manage collections effectively

• Process vendor payments and maintain vendor relationships

• Track and report on project budgets and deliverables

• Reconcile financial records and ensure accurate documentation

• Assist in month-end closure procedures for AP and AR

Requirements:

• At least 2 years experience in accounting

• Strong familiarity with project-based accounting

• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Bilingual in English and French is a plus

• Diploma in Accounting or related field is preferred
