Finance Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Technician to join our financial services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting various accounting functions using a range of accounting software. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using accounting software such as Quick Books, Sage, and ADP.
• Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure accuracy of financial data
• Assist with payroll processing and related activities using systems like ADP
• Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
• Support budgeting activities by providing relevant financial data and analysis
• Prepare reports related to financial transactions and account status for management review
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards during all financial operations

• Proven experience with accounting software including Quick Books, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, account reconciliation, and data entry procedures
• Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP is preferred
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate account analysis and budgeting support
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Prior experience in financial services or related fields is desirable but not mandatory
• Basic understanding of finance-related regulations and compliance standards
