Financial Analyst at Nasittuq

Elevate your career as a Financial Analyst at Nasittuq in Ottawa, ON. This 1-year term contract role focuses on budgeting, financial modeling, and cash flow management in a hybrid work environment.

As a key member of the finance team, you will support the Controller and collaborate with Cost Centre Managers. Your responsibilities include budget analysis, preparing month-end statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting and strong Excel skills to analyze financial data effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and update budgets and forecasts

• Prepare cash flow statements and projections

• Conduct month-end account analysis and reconciliations

• Support month-end and year-end financial reports

• Assist in corporate tax schedules and audits

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Five years of accounting experience, with two at an intermediate level

• Knowledge of general accounting principles

• Familiarity with Oracle EBS is a plus

• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
