CFT Recycling is seeking a motivated Preventative Maintenance Assistant to support our Fleet Maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the heavy truck and transport industry while working alongside experienced technicians.

The wage for this position is $25.00-$30.00 per hour depending on your skills and experience.

Assist heavy truck technicians with repairs and maintenance

Perform greasing and preventative maintenance tasks

Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment

Assist with moving tools, parts, and equipment

Support daily fleet service operations

Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies

Help maintain a safe and professional working environment

3–5+ years of experience as a Preventative Maintenance Assistant or in a similar maintenance role is required.

Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment

Reliable transportation to and from work

Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labour
