Position Summary

The Evening Custodial Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all second‑shift custodial operations to ensure a clean, safe, and well‑maintained environment for students, staff, and community use. This position supervises custodial staff, coordinates daily building cleaning schedules, and ensures compliance with district standards and safety protocols.

Schedule

Full‑time, primarily evening shift (hours may vary based on district needs and events)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise and evaluate evening custodial staff across assigned buildings
  • Assign and monitor daily cleaning tasks and building schedules
  • Ensure all facilities are properly cleaned, secured, and prepared for the next school day
  • Inspect buildings regularly to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Coordinate setup and breakdown for school and community events
  • Maintain inventory of custodial supplies and equipment; submit orders as needed
  • Train custodial staff on proper cleaning procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols
  • Respond to emergency situations and facility‑related issues as needed
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, district policies, and safety regulations
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior custodial experience required; supervisory experience preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and safety procedures
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to lift, move, and perform physical tasks associated with custodial work
Compensation

Salary commensurate with experience; benefits per district policy/Act 93 Agreement
