We are seeking a reliable and skilled Residential Maintenance Worker to support the upkeep and safety of our residential property. This position includes regular maintenance duties as well as on-call responsibilities for after-hours emergencies.
Key responsibilities- Perform routine mechanical and systems checks throughout the property.
- Complete monthly building maintenance work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Respond to and resolve general maintenance requests, including plumbing repairs, leaks, lighting replacements, and other common issues.
- Conduct regular pool and spa inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Prepare vacant units for new occupancy, including repairs, and general unit turnover tasks.
- Perform seasonal duties such as snow removal and de-icing of walkways and entrances during winter months.
- Be available for on-call emergency maintenance issues outside of regular business hours (emergencies only).
- Open and close the building.
- Complete monthly inspections and testing of fire safety systems and elevators, maintaining logs and reports as needed.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and property regulations.
- Must have clean criminal record check.
- Must provide own steel toe boots or shoes.
- High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of related experience in this field.
- Ability to perform minor plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs.
- Experience with heating and cooling systems.
- Experience with pool and hot tub maintenance and testing.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to read/write and speak English. Bilingualism is an asset but not required.
- Light to medium duty work required, lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Working knowledge of multi-residential building systems & equipment.
- General mechanical skills.
The hours of work for this position are 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm with an hour lunch break.

Pay: $26.00-$29.00 per hour
