Residential Maintenance Worker w​/Emergency On-Call Responsibilities

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Residential Maintenance Worker to support the upkeep and safety of our residential property. This position includes regular maintenance duties as well as on-call responsibilities for after-hours emergencies.

• Perform routine mechanical and systems checks throughout the property.
• Complete monthly building maintenance work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Respond to and resolve general maintenance requests, including plumbing repairs, leaks, lighting replacements, and other common issues.
• Conduct regular pool and spa inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Prepare vacant units for new occupancy, including repairs, and general unit turnover tasks.
• Perform seasonal duties such as snow removal and de-icing of walkways and entrances during winter months.
• Be available for on-call emergency maintenance issues outside of regular business hours (emergencies only).
• Open and close the building.
• Complete monthly inspections and testing of fire safety systems and elevators, maintaining logs and reports as needed.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and property regulations.

• Must have clean criminal record check.
• Must provide own steel toe boots or shoes.
• High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of related experience in this field.
• Ability to perform minor plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs.
• Experience with heating and cooling systems.
• Experience with pool and hot tub maintenance and testing.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read/write and speak English. Bilingualism is an asset but not required.
• Light to medium duty work required, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Working knowledge of multi-residential building systems & equipment.
• General mechanical skills.

The hours of work for this position are 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm with an hour lunch break.
