Inter Rent REIT is seeking a Cleaner to join our operations team at our Britannia Park Community. This hands‑on role is ideal for a reliable cleaning professional with a customer‑first mindset who is committed to helping create and maintain clean, safe, and welcoming living spaces for our residents.
Compensation- $17.60 - $19.00/hr based on skills and experience.
- Additionally, eligible employees may participate in our comprehensive benefits program, which includes health, dental, and prescription drug coverage for both employees and their dependents.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, laundry rooms, and common areas to ensure high hygiene standards.
- Empty garbage and ensure that waste is disposed of safely and properly.
- Perform occasional deep cleaning, including scrubbing baseboards, cleaning appliances, and refinishing floors.
- Respond to any cleaning work orders submitted by the property management team.
- Occasionally engage in snow removal during winter months.
- Perform daily inspections of common areas and report any maintenance issues to the property operations team.
- Follow all safety protocols and use all assigned personal protective equipment appropriately.
- Friendly, respectable, and community minded, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Previous cleaning experience considered an asset, but is not required.
- Ability to perform a variety of repetitive physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods of time.
- Basic English verbal communication skills are required.
- Successful completion of a criminal record check.
- Ability to provide professional references and proven record of reliable work attendance.
- Ability to respond to emergencies during regular operating hours.
- Participation in an after‑hours rotational emergency response team may be required.
