Become a vital part of the Penticton Indian Band as a Maintenance Worker focused on community clean-up. This full-time position involves ensuring public spaces are well-maintained and safe.
Operating under the Public Works Supervisor, the Maintenance Worker will perform routine tasks involving parks and building maintenance. Responsibilities include minor repairs, snow removal, and fire suppression tasks which are crucial for community safety and upkeep. Your efforts will enhance the quality of life for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain the cleanliness of parks and recreational areas
• Perform basic repairs on tools and equipment
• Execute routine maintenance of facilities and structures
• Support firewood collection and snow removal efforts
• Contribute to public safety and maintenance strategies
Requirements:
• Experience in outdoor maintenance or related fields
