Taking on this nursing role means becoming part of a caring team within the Obstetrics Department at Headwaters Health Care Centre. The successful applicant will undertake essential nursing duties that meet the College of Nurses of Ontario standards. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized nursing care during childbirth
• Monitor fetal and maternal health during labor
• Document patient conditions and care provided
• Work collaboratively with nursing and medical teams
• Maintain adherence to health and safety regulations
Requirements:
• Current Ontario nursing certification
• Experience with labor and delivery
• Fetal Health Surveillance training completed recently
• Ongoing Maternal Newborn Nursing Certificate is preferred
• Valid Neonatal Resuscitation certification
