Position Overview
Registered Nurse – part‑time, Emergency Department.

Hourly Rate: $40.24 – $57.68 (effective April 1, 2025).

Benefits

Qualifications
Required

Baccalaureate/Diploma in Nursing

Current Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario and membership in good standing

Current BCLS, ACLS required or successful completion within the period of orientation

Coronary Care Course or EKG interpretation skills preferred or required within first year of employment

ER course complete or Emergency Nursing Certificate preferred

Current IV therapy administration skills

Commitment to continued education related to the position

Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

Ability to understand, interpret and carry out verbal and written instructions in English

Ability to work effectively with the nursing and inter‑professional team

Demonstrated computer competency

Preferred

Recent ER experience

Canadian Triage Acuity Scale (CTAS) certification

Canadian Emergency or Critical Care certification
