You will play a pivotal role in assessing and developing care plans for newborns while ensuring that families receive the necessary guidance and education for effective participation in their care. Your expertise will be supported by CHEO's commitment to excellence and integrated health services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess newborns and coordinate nursing interventions
• Plan and implement comprehensive care strategies
• Educate and support families to enhance care
• Follow nursing protocols as per established standards
• Use ventilation and critical care skills where applicable
Requirements:
• Valid Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum 2 years of relevant neonatal experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Bilingual preferred (English/French)
• Preferred Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
