As a vital member of the Counselling Programs team, you will be responsible for serving as the first point of contact for clients seeking services. The role requires strong assessment, crisis intervention abilities, and interpersonal skills to assist individuals in distress and ensure they receive appropriate support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly to intake calls and requests
• Conduct initial assessments and screenings for clients
• Provide crisis intervention and assess risk factors
• Accurately gather and enter client information
• Liaise with community agencies for referrals
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent experience
• Minimum one year in social services setting
• Experience with diverse populations and crisis situations
• Proficiency in Office 365 and client databases
• Bilingual in English and French is required
