Captain RJ - Montreal

Overview

As an Avro RJ Captain with Summit Air, you are responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft with a passion for customer service and prioritizing safety for our clients.

Summit Air, headquartered in Yellowknife, NWT, operates across Canada offering passenger charters, cargo transport, and customized flight solutions. The company is expanding its fleet in Quebec and seeks experienced RJ Captains to join teams in Ottawa or Montreal.

• Operate Avro RJ aircraft safely and efficiently as PIC throughout Northern Canada in accordance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Stay current with all flight information, weather and applicable NOTAMs, and verify type‑A flight plans for accuracy.
• Participate in aircraft pre‑flight inspections and all post‑flight duties.

• Current Canadian ATPL.
• 4000+ hours total time.
• 2500 MPIC on aircraft higher than 5700 kg.
• 500 hours on a jet aircraft an asset.
• High Arctic experience an asset.
• Glass cockpit experience an asset.
• Current passport with the ability to travel to the United States and Europe.
• Ability to obtain Canadian Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
• Strong commitment to safety culture.
• Successful completion of pre‑employment drug and alcohol testing.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
