Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor & Delivery department. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to expectant mothers and their newborns, ensuring a safe and supportive environment during labor and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Assist with childbirth and provide immediate care to newborns.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Labor & Delivery nursing.
• Current RN license in the state of Iowa.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required.
• Must have completed mandatory reporter training for Child and Adult.
• MUST pass a 10-panel drug test.
• Background checks and clearances must be obtained prior to starting.
