Member Specialist

Position Summary

Provides member service and maintains the checkout area. Resolves member issues and concerns, promotes Sam's Club products and services, and offers guidance on self‑service technology. Processes member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies. Follows safety and security standards, conducts safety sweeps, and reports unsafe situations to facility management.

Maintains entrance and exit areas, verifies membership cards, assists members with purchasing decisions, organizes merchandise, and creates a safe shopping environment. Ensures compliance with security procedures, safeguards company assets, maintains paperwork and logs, and executes emergency response procedures.

Assists with training new Member Frontline Services associates on processes and technology, delivering rollout training, and providing continuous learning opportunities.

Retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment such as a cash register and working with mobile retail applications.

Any additional retail experience and familiarity with mobile applications.

Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00 (actual rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the location). Premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
