Walmart is expanding its local retail workforce and is actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. The role supports repair and oversight of Walmart facility refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets, utilizing commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills and a variety of tools.

• 2 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large scale rack refrigeration experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report
• Minimum 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills and tools.
• Use the work order management system to receive, support, and document repair work orders for stores and associates.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, and test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart refrigeration safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights frequently.

• Individual compensation packages based on skill set, experience, job level, qualifications and other factors.

Hourly wage range: $23.00 - $45.00 (exempting schedule, facility and other approvals).
