The Temporary Hourly Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring qualified hourly field employees to support our operation in Owatonna, MN. The duration for this project is 2–3 months. This role ensures a steady pipeline of skilled labor—including general laborers, operators, framers, electricians, and other craft roles—by building strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, community partners, and vocational programs. The recruiter will manage the full hiring cycle for hourly roles in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
Key Responsibilities Recruiting & Talent Acquisition- Manage full‑cycle recruitment for hourly field positions across multiple construction sites.
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, career fairs, social media, referrals, and trade schools.
- Screen applicants to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and conduct interviews and skills assessments.
- Maintain an active pipeline of candidates to meet ongoing labor demands.
- Schedule interviews with hiring managers and follow up to ensure timely decisions.
- Extend job offers and guide candidates through onboarding requirements.
- Coordinate pre‑employment processes such as background checks, drug screens, physicals, and certifications.
- Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
- Ensure recruiting practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws, including EEO and OFCCP requirements.
- Assist with reporting and documentation for audits and compliance tracking.
- 1–3 years of recruiting or HR experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, skilled trades, or other labor‑intensive industries.
- Strong sourcing skills and the ability to recruit in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and organizational skills.
Ability to work onsite at our Owatonna, MN facility 3–4 times per week.
- Proficiency with ATS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience recruiting in construction or skilled trades settings.
- Knowledge of trade certifications and construction roles.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
- Previous experience with UKG ATS.
