What's your day like?

As a Material Handler I at PTI Technologies, you will support aerospace manufacturing operations by accurately receiving, storing, handling, and distributing materials, parts, and finished goods. You will ensure inventory accuracy, maintain proper documentation, and deliver materials to production areas in a timely and organized manner.

  • Prepare kits for production
  • Perform inventory transactions
  • Conduct cycle counts
  • Operate material‑handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely

Additionally, you will verify part numbers, maintain clean storage areas in compliance with aerospace traceability standards, and follow company safety policies and quality guidelines.

What You Need To Be Successful

To excel in this role, candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing environments. Proficiency in basic math, the ability to read and understand work instructions in English, and a commitment to obtaining forklift certification are essential.

  • Familiarity with ERP and inventory systems is beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail, effective communication, and a team‑oriented mindset
  • Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing standards such as AS9100 or ISO preferred
  • Experience in material traceability and shipping procedures preferred

Candidates must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods while maintaining a safety‑conscious approach in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
