Title: Dock Hand
• Location: National Harbor, MD
• Reports to: General Manager and/or Assistant Manager
• Employee Status: non-exempt
• Hours: Full-Time (seasonal: ~ 4/21/21 – 10/1/21)
• Compensation: $15/hr+ plus bonus
Monumental Boat Tours is a small business dedicated to providing a safe and fun experience on the Potomac River aboard two-person catamaran boats, also known as CraigCats.  Our guided tours include destinations such as the monuments and Washington, DC and the Maryland/Virginia waters and Mount Vernon.  Check out our website at (Please contact us using the "Apply for this Job Posting" box below) for more information on our company.

Responsibilities:
Each dock hand is responsible for opening duties/daily prep for the safe operation of the rental fleet. The dock hand position requires a willingness and ability to assist with any task needed. Some of these tasks are as follows:
• Treat all customers with first class customer service.
• Perform opening and closing job duties.
• Clean, inspect, and report on the condition of the boat fleet.
• Willingness to learn.
• Contribute towards a safe, clean, and fun work environment.
• Exhibit character that will lend themselves to a culture of qualities that possess and display a proactive, professional, honest, trustworthy, and strong work ethic.
• Any and all other duties asked of you.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Unlimited or unimpaired ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb and work safely around water or on a ladder.
• Ability to lift 70 pounds.
• Ability to use a POS system, PC and radio.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications (acquire upon hiring at company expense)
• Successful completion Background Check including the National Sex Offender Registry (acquire at company expense)
• Successful completion of a free BoatUS NASBLA-Approved Boater’s Safety (acquire upon hiring at company expense)
• Flexibility to work where necessary on the weekend, evening, and holiday hours.
• Willing to take a drug test as required.
