Job Summary

Registered Nurse (RN) prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care of patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other patient-team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Creates a positive customer service environment.

• Assess and identify patient needs.
• Implement appropriate interventions considering the needs of patient populations per department scope of service.
• Delegate nursing care activities and provide supervision.
• Establish and maintain a plan for the delivery of nursing care.
• Ensure nursing care interventions and activities resolve problems.
• Perform technical aspects of care competently.
