WhatYou’ll Do
- Install, configure, and maintain fiber optic services and customer premise equipment (CPE)
- Deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience—educating customers, addressing questions, and ensuring satisfaction
- Troubleshoot and resolve service and equipment issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance
- Perform work safely in a variety of environments, including heights (up to 30 feet), confined spaces, and outdoor conditions
- Use hand tools, fiber tools, and testing equipment to complete installations and repairs
- Identify opportunities to recommend additional services that meet customer needs
- Accurately complete service documentation, installation checklists, and reporting
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work at heights (up to 30 feet) and in confined spaces (attics, crawl spaces, basements)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds
- Comfortable using hand tools and performing technical installation work
- Ability to distinguish colors for wiring and fiber connections
- Experience with fiber optic installations, including fusion splicing and testing
- Familiarity with bucket trucks and aerial work
- Fiber optic and/or OSHA 10 certification
- Experience upselling or recommending services to customers

Physical Requirements
- Work at heights (up to 30 feet) using ladders or bucket trucks
- Enter confined spaces (attics, crawl spaces, basements)
- Lift and carry equipment up to 80 pounds
- Perform physically active work including bending, climbing, and kneeling
