Description:

You will be the DMS Engineer - Level 3 for the Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) Team which is responsible for safeguarding warfighter readiness by integrating affordable obsolescence solutions.

What You Will Be Doing

As the DMS Engineer - Level 3 you will be responsible for translating complex data into actionable mitigation strategies and driving system‑level solutions within the Aero DMS organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Analyze technical and obsolescence data-including Bills of Material and industry reports-to assess program impact.

* Manage, review, and disposition DMS Supplier Data Requirement Lists (SDRLs).

* Develop, coordinate, and present DMS Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) to program customers.

* Enhance and maintain tooling for tracking, coordinating, and executing DMS mitigation cases using VBA and SQL.

* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate obsolescence solutions across Lockheed Martin Aeronautics programs.

Further Information About This Opportunity

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

This position is in Palmdale, CA Discover Palmdale.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or STEM related field.

* Experience working in the aerospace industry.

* Experience supporting sustainment efforts for a platform or program.

Desired

Skills:

* B.S. Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree.

* General knowledge of electronic components, DMS and Project Management.

* Ability to use technical and interpersonal skills to coordinate across multiple IPTs, disciplines and suppliers in establishing integrated technical and affordable DMS solutions.

* Ability to use knowledge of trade studies and business case analyses to recommend options for DMS mitigations.

* Ability to use technical and interpersonal skills to coordinate across multiple IPTs, disciplines and suppliers in establishing integrated technical and affordable DMS solutions.

Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
