Master Planner

We have an outstanding Contract position for aMaster Plannerto join a leading Company located in the Palmdale, CA surrounding area.

Pay Rate: $22.50 - $130.00

* Responsibilities  :

+  This position provides planning/scheduling support to meet multiple mission requirements located in multiple locations.  

+  Candidate will assist in the development and maintenance of components of the Program Integrated Master Schedule, including proposal schedule development, review/support Statement of Work, and Basis of Estimate development.  

+  Advises the Program Management team when  and if  a contractual impact is expected or when critical events  have happened , including factors that may impact delivery or cost.

+  Ensure Communication and Cross-coordination with IPTs.  

+  Candidate will have experience  utilizing  Critical Path Methodology and  how to apply  it  in  schedule network development and analysis.

+  Candidate will develop/refine knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).  

+  Position interacts across a variety of program functional organizations  such  as engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, and production.  

+  Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment.  

+  Possess the ability to prepare status reports, metrics, and make presentations as required.  

+  Must be a self-starter and have demonstrated Program Planning and Scheduling hands-on experience.  

+  Additional responsibilities will be assigned as required.

+  Position interacts across a variety of program functional organizations.

Basic Hiring Criteria  :

+  Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

+  Minimum 5 years of experience with cost and/or schedule and integration.

+  Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams, projects, or programs.

+  Deliver presentations to leadership, customers, or other stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications  :

+  Experience working independently across Technical Teams, developing a basic level understanding of the technical product.

+  Experience providing risk and opportunity analysis  input .

+  

Experience with Deltek Open Plan Scheduling Tool.

+  

Experience with EVM (Earned Value Management).

+  Demonstrated

Experience with IPMDAR (Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report).

+  

Experience with Milestones Professional software.

+  

Experience with Capture, Research & Development, Production Scheduling Requirements, and dependencies between functions.

+  Experience working on Engineering, Manufacturing, and Development (EMD) programs.
