This Enterprise Operations (EO) position supports the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Division located at the Palmdale, CA facility.
ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate will function as part of the IT support team; managing multiple closed environments, ensuring patching, STIGing, and infrastructure deployments for assigned programs. They will plan, implement, monitor, and upgrade security measures to protect program data, systems, and networks, ensuring that the organization’s data and infrastructure are defended by enabling appropriate security controls. They will troubleshoot technical security and network problems.
BasicQualifications
- Experience with Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10/11, Server 2016, 2019, 2022, etc.)
- Basic experience with Linux Operating Systems (Red Hat Linux 7/8/9)
- Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementation
- Experience with vulnerability remediation and security management (system hardening, log management, configuration management, e.g., Nessus, McAfee, Shavlik, SCAP)
- Must possess DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III certification (e.g., Security+, CASP, CISSP)
- Active Top Secret clearance
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs, including stairs
- Ability to crawl under desks to connect workstations and run cables overhead
- Knowledge of virtualization (e.g., VMware, Horizon, vSphere, vCenter, vCloud, vRealize, NSX, vSAN, VXRail)
- Knowledge of storage service administration (e.g., Net App/EMC hardware, software, tape management, disaster recovery practices)
- Experience with creating domain‑wide automated solutions
- Knowledge of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LDAP)
- Experience with desktop and server operating system updates, patching, and troubleshooting
- 8140 certifications (e.g., Security+, MCSE, VMware, Network+)
- Outstanding work ethic
- Self‑motivated, customer focused, and proactive
- Professional in rapid change environments
- Capable of supporting multiple tasks and customers with competing deadlines concurrently
This position requires a government security clearance and the candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. Level: Top Secret.
Work ScheduleOnsite full‑time: 4 × 10‑hour days, Monday‑Thursday; 3 days off per week.
Pay RateThe annual base salary for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC is $104,500 – $184,115. For other states, the salary will reflect the final work location.
