** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel and resort setting.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, guest amenity areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directions and guest inquiries, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.

+ Support hotel operations during busy periods, special events, and/or after-hours activity by observing surroundings, reporting concerns, and following post orders and client instructions.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
