Position Description
Join Ryder as a Class A CDL Truck Driver and enjoy a fulfilling driving career with competitive weekly pay and excellent benefits. Our employees earn an average of $1,694 weekly.
- Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly
- Weekly Guarantee of $1,200
- Work Hours:
50+ hours per week - Solo Miles Pay: $0.65 per mile with an average of 1,830 miles per week
- Solo Stops Pay: $22.00 per stop with approximately 15 stops per week
- Additional Per Diem Pay: $35.00 per night for 5 nights per week
- Paid Training Provided
- Schedule:
Tuesday - Saturday - Start Time:
Between 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Deliver SOLO to various states including IL, MI, WI, MN, TX, NE, OK, MO, IN, TN, FL, GA, CO, KY, SD, and OH
- Route Type:

Sleeper - Trailer Type:
Dry Van 53' - Handle equipment including a Hand Truck for tailgate deliveries
- All drivers receive training on required equipment

Requirements- Must be at least 21 years old
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test and Background check
- Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test
- Hold a valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements
- Verifiable experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, 2 years in the last 5, or 5 years in the last 10
- Ability to follow instructions and comply with regulations
