Job Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all public areas throughout the community, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and well‑kept environment for residents, families, visitors, and team members.

Remove trash and debris from grounds, common areas, and waste receptacles on a regular basis.

Empty waste baskets and dispose of garbage in accordance with community policies and procedures.

Assist with apartment turnover cleaning to prepare residences for new residents, including deep cleaning and sanitation as needed.

Clean floors, windows, restrooms, hallways, entrances, and other common areas according to established schedules.

Safely and properly use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies while following all safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.

Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply needs to the appropriate supervisor.

Support the overall housekeeping and environmental services team as needed to maintain community standards.

Follow all infection control, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

• Previous experience in janitorial, housekeeping, custodial, or commercial cleaning services preferred.
• Demonstrates pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Good communication skills and a positive, service‑oriented attitude.
• Knowledge of the safe handling, storage, and use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Must be able to work safely while adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
