Project Manager-Research - HS

Oversees the management of all aspects of one or more large scale, complex multi-year, multi-center research projects. Provides technical expertise to functional research units within and across disciplines. Serves as consultant, content expert and advisor for project managers on multiple projects. Experience working with very large data collection team projects and managing full research teams, including staff that consist of research assistants, research associates, data analyst and lab technicians.

Experience working with KPNC regional field projects and field research studies , Experience coordinating data collection activities, such as administration of research questionnaires and collection of body measurements., patient interviews; data quality control; preparation of budgets; hiring, training, evaluating and supervising research staff; conducting data analysis; preparing grant applications ,

Experience with submitting and tracking projects for IRB approval.

Experience with managing biospecimens and developing tracking protocols , Ability to work on and manage multiple projects simultaneously and develop research study protocols , Based primarily in chronic disease epidemiology (obesity, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes in women)
