Head Custodian

LOCATION:

McGee Elementary

SALARY: $26.43 - $29.19 per hour

SCHEDULE:

8 hours per day, Monday through Friday,

260 day - Work Year

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED:

(Qualifications which are essential to the position)

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* Ability to establish appropriate rapport with students and staff

* Demonstrate exceptional service to students and staff

* Ability to function as part of school, department and district team

* Accept and carry out directions as given

* Ability to work unsupervised

* Demonstrated punctuality and an excellent work attendance record

* Demonstrated exemplary customer service and responsiveness

* Ability to submit routine paperwork and process work orders as required

* Ability to lift and move heavy items in excess of 60 pounds unassisted

* Physical ability to do required work which could include heavy and sustained lifting,

* squatting,bending, stooping, carrying, climbing of ladders and other functions that are

* difficult and demanding

* Demonstrated ability to carry out safe work practices and procedures

* Must be able to work off of all ladder heights, scissor lifts, and Geni Lifts

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED: (Qualifications which are not required, but would be useful to the position)

* Experience in scheduling day-to-day custodial functions

* Experience in summer restorative care including scheduling of summer work tasks

* Experience in efficient use of supplies and supply management

* Successful completion of Head Custodian Training
