Cyber Security Engineer, Senior

About the Role

As a cyber mission specialist at Booz Allen, you will use your cyberspace operations experience to create solutions executed on a worldwide stage. You’ll apply Risk Management Framework (RMF) knowledge for the Air Force and Space Force, evaluate cyberspace capabilities, identify potential weaknesses, and assess the effectiveness of mitigation measures.

You will harden systems, conduct vulnerability assessments, and bolster the organization’s security posture. You’ll guide clients through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones, translating security concepts so they can make informed decisions for mission‑critical systems and critical infrastructure. This role provides opportunity to act as an information security subject matter expert while broadening your skills in cybersecurity and RMF.

• 3+ years of experience with cybersecurity or information assurance
• Experience with RMF, NIST 800‑53 controls, and DoD cybersecurity policies
• HS diploma or GED
• Security+ certification
• Top Secret clearance

• Experience preparing and maintaining Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages
• Experience conducting security assessments, documenting actions, and validating accreditation under RMF
• Experience as an ISSO
• Experience with eMASS or Xacta
• Bachelor’s degree
• DoD 8140 IAM Level III Certification

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary range: $86,800.00 to $ (annualized USD).
