Role Overview:
We are looking for an Engineer, Data & Automationto support our business transformation initiatives by designing and implementing data‑driven and automation solutions. The role focuses on improving operational efficiency, data quality, and decision‑making across the organisation by bridging business needs and technical execution.
This position is well‑suited for someone who enjoys working closely with stakeholders, translating pain points into scalable data or automation solutions, and building reliable data pipelines and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business pain points, requirements, and process gaps
- Propose and implement data‑driven or automation solutions, including dashboards, scripts, workflow automation, and API integrations
- Design, build, and enhance ETL pipelines to support reporting, analytics, and downstream automation
- Maintain and improve data infrastructure, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and proper documentation
- Apply data architecture and analytics principles to solve real‑world business problems
- Support ongoing improvements in data quality, governance, and operational reporting
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- Proven experience as aData Engineer, Automation Engineer, or similar role, preferably within a data‑centric or transformation‑focused environment
- Strong programming skills in Python(experience with Java or Scala is an advantage)
- Solid understanding of data pipelines, data architecture, and analytics concepts
- Good problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
